BSHS Powerlifter Earns State Honors

BSHS Powerlifter Quasett Woodruff has been recognized by the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) for her outstanding academic achievements. The Big Spring senior was selected for the THSWPA Academic All-State Elite Team. 

Woodruff is a four-time state qualifier. In her 4 years at state, she is a two-time silver medalist, and this year, she won a state championship in the 242+ weight class. 

Along with her accomplishments in powerlifting she has maintained high marks in the classroom, she is in the top 10% of her class. Quasett has set the standard for future student-athletes at Big Spring High School.
