Mr. Brad Froman, Principal
I grew up in Ackerly, Texas and graduated from Sands HS in 1996. I received my Associate’s Degree from Howard College and my Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University. I taught middle school math for 5 years and during that time I earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from University of the Southwest. Over the past 15 years, I have worked in various different administrative roles. My wife, Jennifer, our three children, Joshua, Urijah, Rheesa and I, are proud to be a part of this community and the BSISD family. I look forward to serving the students, staff and families as my role of Principal at Big Spring Junior High.

Ms. Pamela Taylor-Bonner
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce myself to you as one of the Assistant Principals of Big Spring Junior High School. My name is Pamela D. Taylor, and I am honored to be a part of a great campus and community. I was born in a small rural community named Mount Calm, TX; this is where I attended grades K-8 and I graduated from Hubbard High School in Hubbard, TX. After graduating from Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX (where I also worked as the Assistant Housing Director for five years), I started my career in education. I worked at Mount Calm ISD in many positions: I taught second grade for fourteen years, then was promoted to the Reading Interventionist for the district, and finally became the Principal for the district (Pre-K – 12th). I knew that there was more for me to learn about the education field, so I decided that I wanted to work in a bigger district. I worked as an Assistant Principal at Sweetwater Middle School during the 2000-2021 school year. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC.
As an educator, I want to not only help educate our students but to also work with them, so they will become productive citizens when they graduate from high school. It is all about building relationships and understanding our students.
I am excited to be a Steer!
