A big Steer "Thank You" goes out to the Staked Plains Masonic Lodge #598. The fine gentlemen of that organization offered a free breakfast to all Big Spring ISD employees this morning. It's a favorite annual event of many district employees and, like all those before, this morning's meal was just fantastic. Go Steers!

2017 Memorial Tree Ceremony - Some of you may know that we lost one of the trees we planted last May as part of the 2016 Memorial Tree Ceremony. Johansen's Nursery was kind enough to replace the tree at no charge, but at their suggestion, we are going to delay our 2017 Memorial Tree Ceremony until late September or early October. If you would like to learn more about the Memorial Tree Project, contact George Bancroft at 432-264-3600.

Big Spring ISD Superintendent Chris Wigington stopped by to give a big Steer "Thank You" to Cindy Carlisle and her fantastic crew at Complex Community Federal Credit Union. CCFCU is a tremendous supporter of the Big Spring ISD. Recently, they helped out with donations for our Neighborhood Resource Nights and also for a BSHS Choir fundraiser. Go Steers!
